"We actually ran out of money like near the end, so Cat Quest was really do or die," exclaims Desmond Wong.
#Cat quest ii level up series
Noted on the Private Mewan quest. Why I Do What I Do is an original AsiaOne series where we showcase people with uncommon professions and what it takes to get there. You would have gone there early in the Main Quest.ĥ. It's the large structure in the southern part of Felingard.
#Cat quest ii level up upgrade
You can upgrade spells in the Arcane Headpawters like FX9 said.

We just felt it was too easy in the first game, so we designed the dungeons to be a little bit tougher, but it's still possible! It's a great reward, so it should also be hard to get right? )Ĥ. You can steal high level chests from dungeons. A good mage should only use the ranged weapon to get back mana, while using their spells as the main damage dealer. Ranged attacks are weaker than melee, yes, but they also allow you to attack from afar, which is a huge advantage in alot of scenarios! To offset the lesser damage of the ranged weapons, try casting more magic! Alot of ranged weapons give huge boosts to magic, and even some passives that increase the potency of certain spells. When you see this happen, immediately back away because a projectile is coming.Įnemy projectiles move very slowly, so you have ample time to see their direction and dodge it!Ģ. Enemies that shoot projectiles have a very long winding up animation before shooting. In Cat Quest 2 it's a pity for me that most chests can't be open when any monster is chasing you, so this become very hard (I still managed to do it on one chest and I won't tell you which one is it :) )ġ. It is fun for me (although most of them were useless). In the last one I managed to "steal" many high level chests so I could get very good stuff at low level. Then I have to move away and may trigger more monsters. Like sometimes I can rush into a monster or even monsters, and kill them with 3 melee attacks before they can attack me but with ranged attack I can't kill then before they attack, even I can start attack earlier. they deal far less damage than melee attacks and in most cases I still found melee attacks better. ranged attacks from the player characters are too weak. Also there is no red zone indicating a monster is going to make a ranged attack, and many times I was hit/killed by zero-range bullet. The battle logic was simply "avoid standing in red zones" but now I need to avoid bullets. This doesn't exist in Cat Quest I and it actually makes the game much harder. The difficulty is still acceptable and enjoyable for me but I personally prefer it to be easier.Ī few reasons why it's harder, ordered by importance: Overall this game is much harder than Cat Quest I. I thought 1 skull means it's equal or lower level and 2 skulls means its higher.
#Cat quest ii level up update
Lastly, please make sure you are using the latest update of the game as some balance tweaks have been made. So you shouldn't be having so many problems.Īlso, bear in mind that using staffs reduce your health by 50%, so this might be why you are getting killed in a few hits.

If its 2 skulls, it means the quest is either your level, or you are higher leveled than it. Originally posted by The Gentlebros:Hey there, can we check which quests these are exactly?
